I was a senior mod on a 175K+ members community in which half of the users were trading on Rocket League and we were a team of 50 mods to clean things up, monitor the trades, get rid of scammers etc. Besides our vouch system, the moderation team will be mobilized and trained to fight misbehaviours that may harm others interests.
We are really aiming to be as efficient as possible regarding misbehaviour, that’s the all point our devs are working on.
Unfortunately they’re likely not to launch one. I agree with that idea to have a Blizz owned trading utility.
